My name is Katerina (Kat for short) and I am RIDICULOUSLY passionate about health and wellness. I have a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics, and I am a full-time office worker, part-time health coach. 

I was an athlete growing up, and I knew which foods helped me perform well, and which ones made me sluggish. Once I stopped playing sports, it was easy for me to be a normal college student without a coach forcing me to exercise or drink a gallon of water every day. I developed unhealthy eating habits, and rarely ever exercised. When I noticed my weight increased, I drastically restricted my calorie intake to lose weight. I thought because I lost weight, I was healthy, but I was actually starving my body and withholding the very thing I actually needed: FOOD. Now I preach EAT BETTER FEEL BETTER because I truly believe when you give your body the nourishment it needs, you will feel great!

Now as a health coach, I teach others the importance of listening to their bodies. Our bodies tell us so much, and when we listen, we can give our body exactly what it needs.

Friend, this blog is a place not of perfection, but of purpose. If we could be more purposeful with our actions, I truly believe we could all drastically improve our health.

Purposefully eat more veggies today.

Purposefully drink an extra bottles of water. 

Purposefully turn off the TV 30 minutes earlier at night so you can get more rest.

Living a healthy lifestyle doesn’t need to be hard, and it sure as heck does not need to look perfect. My goal with this blog is to encourage you to be more purposeful with your health, and to help you learn what healthy living looks like to YOU. 

You don’t have to live the healthiest life, you just have to live the healthiest life for you. Let’s figure out what that looks like, together. 

The reason behind this blog name: Lunges Burpees and Squash, is to create a community of busy people who desire to be healthier and happier! To encourage those who are eager to love their bodies even if they have no idea where to start. If you are unsure of where to begin, IT IS OKAY! This blog is here to navigate you through all the health and fitness mumbo jumbo, and to bring you simple daily changes for healthy living.
