Peanut Butter Stuffed Dates

If you have a sweet tooth like me, you NEED these delicious peanut butter stuffed dates in your life.

Dates are not the most attractive-looking food ever, but they have a very sweet taste and are full of fiber! The sweetness of the dates combined with the saltiness of the peanut butter makes a perfect late night (or anytime) treat!

The process is simple and you only need three ingredients:

  • Dates
  • Peanut Butter (or any nut butter)
  • Ground Cinnamon

First, pit the dates

You can buy dates with the pits already removed and skip this step entirely. If your dates are not pitted, use a knife to make a thin slit in the date and remove the pit.

Second, stuff the dates with your favorite nut butter

Do not let anyone tell you you’re putting too much nut butter inside the dates. You put EXACTLY how ever much your heart desires.

I like my peanut butter without any added salts, oils, or sugars. Look for peanut butter that contains peanuts and only peanuts.

Third, sprinkle the dates with cinnamon

This simple step drastically enhances the flavor of this snack, and should not be missed (unless of course you don’t like cinnamon).

Fourth, devour the peanut butter stuffed dates

The best part about this recipe is it contains no added sugars. There is naturally occurring sugar found in the date, but that’s it! This snack is full of healthy fats, fiber, vitamins, and antioxidants.
